Shannon Briggs, Founder & head trailblazer, Campfire Collective
Launching her marketing agency in 2022 and its growth is Shannon Briggs’ biggest career achievement. “Since then, our annual revenue has increased 566%, and our team has doubled to accommodate the work.” Day-to-day, she’s focused on community relations, strategic partnerships, PR, client satisfaction, and team support.
As Shannon and team highlight Memphis and Memphians, they also host their Just Bluffin’ podcast and have increased partnerships, including WYXR, I Love Memphis, and Choose901. She’s proud of that community-focused, fun work and the intentional culture she’s built.
After honing its systems and processes, Campfire Collective’s been working toward its goal of continually growing to allow capacity for larger-scale projects and to work with more similar mission-minded clients.
With marketing messages everywhere we turn, Shannon sees a trend of focusing on quality content over quantity. That means relatable, casual, transparent, and authentic messaging.
